Kevin Gallagher
Managing Partner
Kevin Gallagher has more than 25 years of public relations and print media experience. Kevin was founder and principal of Gallagher PR from 1992 to 2002, where his agency played a crucial role in the success of myriad Internet infrastructure stars. He founded Gallagher Group Communications to serve a broader range of renewable energy and technology companies at every stage of development with focused, senior-level expertise that perfectly complements existing resources or drives full-service PR and marketing communications campaigns from start to finish. Previously, Kevin served in both global and Silicon Valley PR agencies and held senior PR management positions with Nortel and Ingres Corporation.
Peter Davé
Strategic Services Director
Peter is a 24-year veteran of technology marketing with a broad range of client experience for such leading companies as Peribit, ConSentry, Matisse, Nevis, Packeteer, Gear6, SunEdison, Woven Systems, Mu Dynamics, Vermeer Technologies, Network Appliance, Alteon Networks, WebLogic, Intraware, Novell, Xerox, Synoptics, Digital Equipment Corporation, and dozens more.
Prior to collaborating with GGC, Peter was co-managing partner of Davé & Bairey Communications, LLC. He has also held senior positions at Regis McKenna, Inc. and Ketchum Communications. He graduated with honors from San Jose State University in journalism and political science.
Peter serves as the primary strategist for all clients and also leads or supervises all writing projects.
Kimberly Hathaway Senior Account Director
Kimberly Hathaway has more than 20 years of technology, B2B and consumer public relations experience. Her broad PR background includes book publicity, event production, community relations and product launches, as well as managing accounts and media consulting for a wide variety of technology and energy clients, including Sun Edison and The City Tour for Solar.
She is a board member of Sunburst Projects, Steering Committee member for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man & Woman of the Year and Gala Steering Committee member for the Richmond-Ermet AIDS Foundation.
Kimberly is a California native based in San Francisco and holds a marketing degree from Arizona State University.
Roger Biery

Roger Biery brings to GGC an uncommon ability to describe complex concepts and technology in a comprehensible and compelling way. He has over two decades of successful sales and marketing experience in the computer networking industry and specializes in writing contributed articles, white papers, case studies, strategic press releases and marketing collateral. Roger and Managing Partner Kevin Gallagher have worked together since 1992 when Roger was vice president of marketing at Luxcom, a privately held intelligent hub start-up and Gallagher client.
Roger began his career as a sales representative of distributed midrange computer systems for Hewlett-Packard. He left HP to become director of sales & marketing for Dataflow Systems, one of HP's largest independent software vendors. He then worked for Ungermann-Bass as product line manager accountable for nearly one third of UB's total revenue with system-level strategic planning responsibility for the entire Net/One family of products. From UB Roger went to Luxcom. Roger graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati with a BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering.
W. Knox Richardson
VP/Strategic Accounts Development
Trained in journalism and marketing, Knox has more than 30 years experience in corporate and product marketing, public relations, business development and editorial. He served as PR director for Borland Int'l and before that was marketing director for Personal Computing. As an PR agency consultant, Knox designed and managed programs for Hewlett-Packard, Borland, Ashton-Tate, Xilinx, Compression Labs, REUTERS’ TIBCO, Inference, and many other technology corporations.
A former editor with ADWEEK, Knox is the founder and chairman of the Twin Towers Orphan Fund, Inc. recipient of Fast Company’s “Fast 50” award and honored by Congress and the American Red Cross. He holds a B.A. from Regents College in liberal arts and journalism.
At GGC, Knox is responsible for securing core relationships with strategic partners and long-term account programming. In addition, he consults with senior management, supplementing account teams where appropriate.
